The Co&xister association, created in 2018, has the mission of supporting humans and animals in learning to live together respectful of each person's needs. The practice of rowing, a complete sport that is done alone or in a team, is particularly beneficial to people affected by breast cancer, both physically and psycho-socially. Outdoor sport, endurance sport, non-impact sport, rowing improves balance, strengthens and tones the muscles and activates lymphatic drainage. Nowadays, rowing has become a symbol of the fight against breast cancer.

This program for women affected by breast cancer was launched. created by rowing clubs in French-speaking Switzerland and is now offered by several Zurich clubs.

Fondation Planètes Enfants Malades

Let's brighten up the daily lives of children in hospital together

Created at the dawn of 2001, the Planètes Enfants Malades Foundation's mission is to improve the daily life and well-being of the 8,500 children and adolescents aged from a few days to 18 years old, who are treated or hospitalized each year in the pediatric departments of the CHUV. Thanks to daily presence with young patients, all the activities offered are adapted according to their age and their needs, in constant and direct collaboration with the professionals of the Women-Mother-Child Department of the CHUV.

La Montheysanne

The Association La Montheysanne is a non-profit association. Its objective is to fight against the isolation of women affected by cancer, by offering them activities open to all! Let these women simply be women for the space of a day… without the qualifier “sick”.

The association sets itself the following tasks:

• to organize discovery days and workshops for sick women.
• to organize the La Montheysanne running race.
• to collaborate with organizations or individuals pursuing the same or similar goals.

ADESSIA

For you who:

• have experienced pregnancy loss or perinatal bereavement
• feel other old wounds returning, revived by this mourning
• have babies among your siblings who died during pregnancy

The ADESSIA association is there for you if you feel the need to be supported, to talk about it and to move forward. Our team of professionals offers individual or group support, in different locations in French-speaking Switzerland, as well as a helpline and a library.

ADESSIA is a non-profit association , politically and ideologically neutral.

S-Endo

Active in French-speaking Switzerland since 2016, the aim of the S-Endo association is to raise awareness of endometriosis among the general public and the medical profession, and to support people affected by the disease as well as their loved ones.

Endometriosis is a chronic and painful gynaecological disease that is very common, affecting an estimated 1 to 2 in 10 women worldwide.  This highly complex disease with multiple symptoms has a major impact on the lives of sufferers and their families. The time taken to diagnose the disease is between 7 and 10 years, and S-Endo is fighting alongside sufferers to shorten this period and encourage rapid treatment to avoid the long wait for medical care, which is the source of many physical, physiological and psychological after-effects, some of which are irreversible.
